What I notice the most is how THIN I used to be! Four children and (mumble) years later...

A couple of weeks before graduation my mom took me for a haircut. After the haircut, Mom asked, "Is that all you're going to cut off?"
The stylist recut my hair.
It was SO SHORT I had to part it on the side to get it to feather. I CRIED.
It was still short when I met Stan. Shorter than his!

This one was made on my trip to show my family in TN & AL that I was still alive after my bad car accident in '85. The fro helped cover the hair loss from the head injury - not that my little cousin Traci was impressed!

Glamour Shots attempted to make me look like a fashion plate as an anniversary gift for my hubby.
Just what every husband wants: Scary eyebrows!

I totally remember the glamor shots. My mom and I went and had them done when I was in middle school for a fun girls night. I remember thinking I would look just like that when I was "grown up" so glad I don't!
The last sentence made me laugh... Just what every husband wants... scary eyebrows!!! HAH!
Great post. Sorry that you had a bad car accident though. I have been in a few too but thank God I have never been seriously hurt.
Be blessed.

Great pictures, Patti! actually the one with your niece - she looks a lot like Rachel :). I had seen the glamor shot at your house before, but had forgotten it...thanks for sharing :). I understand what you mean about the "thinness" and the "years" - lol
Ha ha ha......scary eyebrows. And there was NOTHING better than glamour shots.
What is so very sad to me is that I wore similar glasses... in the nineties. And I remember the Glamor Shots - I never did them, but my sister had many a session.
Wow! Those are some great pictures. And some seriously big glasses and hair. But this is the place to share 'big.' Welcome home.
Thanks for the comments!
I must admit (sheepishly) that my current glasses aren't all that much smaller. What can I say, I want to SEE as much as possible!
I had big glasses like that, too! It seems so funny now ...
I always wanted a Glamor Shot, can you still get those?
